Timeperiods for our meetings

We have chosen to divide our timeperiods at our events in the following way:

spring event

- 2016-2024

In this way, we achieve that the available material that our members have is used regularly as much as possible.

1975-1989

We use the equipment that started the 70s. Some brown passengerwagons and locomotives were still in use.

Focus on the passenger train side:

IC with up to 7-8 B carriages

- MY/MX with 4-5 Bn carriages
- MR-MRD
Express train with MA in red and silver
ME with cross-border international passenger trains

1990-2001

The period when DSB's IC trains with B carriages still dominate and the "Sølvpil" as express train is replaced by IC3/MF.

The short 2-axle freight wagons have been replaced by larger 2- and 4-axle freight wagons.

2008-2015

The period when train sets begin to dominate in DSB's world. The last Bn wagons are replaced with DD wagons.

Passing freight trains through Denmark dominate on the freight side with more and more full trains.

2016-2024

The period is dominated by trainsets, however diesel-drawn MEs still run with the DD carriages until these are replaced with Vetron-EB.

There are plenty of freight trains passing through Denmark, but several domestic customers also purchase freight trains.
