FFMM modules

FFMM modules are build according to FREMO´s modulenorm.

This makes them compatible with other FREMO modules, and provides the same features as FREMO modules.

Lack of modules

It might sound like we do not have enough modules ..

But in reality, the more modules that are available for an event, the more exciting the set-up can be. For example, we strive for no less than 8 meters between 2 operating sites. Most of all, we would like to go over the 10 meters on double-track stretches.

But here's a little overview of what we can use;

Sections:

  • Single-track curve modules - with a minimum radius of 2000 mm.

  • Single-track curve modules - that can be assembled into a 90º curve.

  • Double-track curve modules - with a minimum radius of 2500 mm.

  • Double-track straight modules - lengths of up to 1000 mm.

  • Single-track straight modules - lengths up to 1000 mm.

  • Single joker-track curves - 2º-5º.

  • Single joker-track straight - maximum length 40 cm.

For curve modules, we have the necessary track rulers so that the curves appear at the correct distance from each other.

We can also help you obtain complete modular kits.

Side tracks with goods:

  • Small or medium-sized companies located on an industrial track.
  • Length from 1 to 4 meters.

Step board as a block:

  • Step board of 2-3 meters double track as a block with platform for regional trains / train sets
  • With entrance signal which independently turns green if the stretch is free
  • With exit signal which independently turns green if the stretch is free

Industry:

  • Medium-sized industry that can purchase 4-8 wagons / entire freight train, 8-14 wagons

Stations with a lot of goods:

  • Medium-sized stations for main lines - 8-9 meters long. Should be able to receive and send trains up to 4.00 m length.
  • Medium-sized stations – with industry and/or unloading area (possibly 2 tracks)
  • Single-track endstation with freight area - with connection option for industry and/or terminal

Larger stations (good advice before starting the project):

  • Here it is important to keep in mind that the station must be able to be transported fairly easily. How will you transport the station? And with what?
  • Staff - how many are needed to operate the station? Is the number of staff always available?
  • Must be able to receive and send trains up to 3.50-4.50 m in length. Remember, extraction tracks must not be main tracks.
  • Length should not exceed 12 metres.
